Church deacon David Mann leads the adult Sunday School class.
Plum Point offers Sunday morning Bible study that begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School is divided into age groups, with early, younger, and older youth classes and with one adult class. The classes use quarterly Sunday School guides to help in learning about the Bible.
The youth Sunday School classes meet in the basement area of the church, where separate rooms offer individual classes greater privacy as they study their Sunday School lessons and do activities.
The adult Sunday School class meets in the church's sanctuary. In addition to the regular Sunday offering collected during morning worship, the adult class collects a special offering each week by passing a coffee can among the class members. Read more about the Coffee Can Fund!
On "fifth Sundays" (that is, the final Sunday in a month when there are five Sundays instead of the usual four), the church stages an "open-stage gospel music festival." Everyone in the community is invited not just to attend but also to participate. If you have gospel music in your heart, please join in!
